Capital Foundation supports changes in NPLEA

The “Capital” to join the organizations supporting the adoption of amendments to the non-profit (NPLEA). Requested changes in three main areas: to set up a Council for Civil Society Development Council of Ministers to participate in the development and implementation of policies to support the development of civil society; be established to fund the state budget on a competitive basis to support civic initiatives of public importance; registration of NGOs be transferred from district courts to the Registry Agency.

As one of the leading non-governmental organizations that advocate for the adoption of these changes, the Bulgarian Centre for Non-Profit Law (BCNL) launched the campaign “15 years since the adoption of the Non – believe in change!” In which celebrities, public figures and prominent experts different areas of public life explains why changes in the law are important. Says in support of the campaign Lyubomir Vassilev, executive director of the “Capital”.

On March 8, 2016, in West Hall of the National Assembly hosted a discussion between first and second reading of amendments to the Law for Non-profit.
